Who I recommend
Having been working in the wedding photography industry for well over 10 years now, I’ve seen suppliers come and go as well as one or two longstanding contacts but I have always been extremely careful of who I recommend, please see my where I’ve worked page for venues, but below you will find a very exclusive list of suppliers that I have worked with and highly recommend to help create something stunning for your big day.
I have referred to a venues pages already (listing some of my recent highlights) but I will always recommend one venue in particular and that is Stratton Court Barn, a family run Oxfordshire based countryside barn led by the lovely, amazingly talented and supportive Karin, highly recommended and a pleasure to work with.
Make Up – I have worked with many talented make up artists over the years but 2 people have left a lasting impression not only for their amazing skill but also their brilliant personalities and they are Sarah Yeo based in Northamptonshire and Stratton Court Barn recommended Debbie Mac.
Floristry – An art form in itself and you won’t go far wrong getting in touch with either the wonderful Joules at Willow & Thyme, as her website states “simply beautiful flowers” but I’m inclined to suggest they’re more than simple, or the Uber-creative genius Flowers by Kirsty.
Cakes – Another art form, Your wedding cake can form the centrepiece of your wedding breakfast and when presented in conjunction with amazing table decorations in an amazing room can be simply breath taking, recently I’ve seen some amazing work by Helen from Batch 17 Bakes.
I also have the ongoing pleasure of working with the highly creative and talented Warren Day, design artist, chalkboard artist and general wedding themed creations including some truly amazing table plans. You can find Warren on Facebook under Warren Day Designer-Maker, please check out his awesome work as his touches lift any wedding with his bespoke and hand drawn artistry.
